I have a student with diabetes this year. She has an insulin pump too. We just met with the nurse, who is only at school once a week too, two weeks ago to go over her diabetic care plan. The nice thing about the pump is it is suppose to be not as harsh on her body as insulin shots where there can be more extreme highs and lows.
